Inquiry into Language:
Today we read the book How to Catch a Star. Students then wrote a recount of the story in their journals. Students have improved quite a bit since the first time we did a recount. We still have some work to when it comes to writing details but we are slowly improving.
Math:
Today we continued to learn about how to read circle graphs. To help students understand how to identify fractions on a circle graph we watched a video on you tube so that students could see the comparison between the fractions. Here is the link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULU6OFxqApc

We used this time to put the finishing touches on our summative projects. Students then spent the rest of the time practicing their presentations. Students were asked to give constructive feedback to their peers. (Speak clearly, Speak louder, try not to hold your paper in front of your face)
