Inquiry into Language:
Today students wrote their spelling test. When students had finished they had some time to read quietly or work in their cursive books. It was up to them on what they wanted to do.
Math:
Today we reviewed how to collect data and how to draw a bar graph. We talked about all the components we needed to complete a bar graph. We need a title, we need to label both our vertical and horizontal axis, we need a scale for both axis, and then we need plot our data. Students then finished pg.109 from yesterday and got an extra practice package to work on.
Inquiry into Migration:
Today students continued researching their mode of transportation in the past and present.
Students also put a sticker on our class map showing where their families come from. Looking back at our first lesson on migration where students talked about their families experience with migration.
