Christmas Craft:
The class spent some time with Ms. Hayward today. During their time with her they made a Christmas ornament.

Math:
We continued to learn how to estimate sums and differences using round to the nearest 100. We did some rounding during our first unit. We reviewed that if the number in the tens and ones is 50+ we round the first number up. If the number in the tens and ones is 49- then the first number stays the same.

We did some practice as a class following these steps:
1. Round both numbers to the nearest 100.
2. Add or Subtract the two rounded numbers to get your estimated answer.

Students then completed some problems on their own.

Christmas Concert:
We went to the Dome today to watch the grade 3-8 Christmas concert.
