Inquiry into Language:
Today we reviewed what a letter was and all the important components of a letter. We had Letter Larry to help us with this.
Students were then told that they were going to write a letter to Mr. Rozario telling him what we did yesterday. As a class we brainstormed everything we had done. Students then got a letter writing template to write their letters on.
Math:
Today students reviewed what a bar graph is and what you need to draw a bar graph. Students then worked on reading bar graphs and answering questions about what they saw on the graphs.
We reviewed how to find the difference between two different activities, we learned that we need to subtract the two and the answer we get from them is the difference between the activities.
Inquiry into Migration:
Today we talked about transportation from past and present and how it has changed throughout history. Students asked how transportation relates to migration so we talked about how when people move to different countries depending on the time they are moving or where they are moving they would use different types of transport.
We watched these two videos to see different types of transportation.

Students were then given a chart for past and present. Students were asked to cut out the pictures and place them in the correct section. We then defined what transportation was and brainstormed the different types from the past and present.
