Language:
Today we reviewed what a noun is (person, place, thing, and idea)
Students then did a scavenger hunt in the newspaper to find to nouns that relate to our UOI Community helpers. Students worked in their table groups and had to find as many nouns as they could while being timed. The table group who found the most all got house points.
Math:
Today Students learnt how to plot numbers on a number line. We did page 8 in our work books together as a class on the board. Then students worked independently on page 9.
UOI:
Students drew a picture of themselves today and brainstormed words and symbols that show how they are a good citizen and then labeled the picture of them.
We also made our class central agreement and all signed it today.
