Language:
Students reviewed what a verb is. ( A verb is an action or something that you do.) Students went outside and played a few games of Simon Says. We played a game as a class and then students went into two groups and played their own game of Simon Says.
Math:
Today students worked on counting tens and ones and adding them together to make a whole number.
Students worked on page 10 and 11 individually in their workbooks. Everyone did very well on them and most students even did the stretch your thinking.
Inquiry into Citizenship:
As a class we brainstormed cities and what they need to be safe and help them run smoothly. We talked about important buildings the people we find there and the responsibilities they have.
