Today we reviewed what Nouns are; people, places, and things. We then brainstormed some nouns as a class.

 Students then went on a scavenger hunt in the news paper for nouns. Students worked in their table groups and when they were finished each group shared the nouns they found. The group who found the most won house points. We also talked about some important places and people in our community that they found during their hunt.

Math:
Today students learned how to plot given numbers on a number line. We completed pg. 8 as a class having some students come up and show us where they would put the number.

 Students then completed pg.9 on their own.

Today students drew a picture of themselves and around their picture they put things that they can do to be responsible citizens. I drew a quick example on the board of what I could do to be a responsible citizen then we came up with our success criteria for this assignment together.

 Most of us did not finish so we will continue tomorrow.
