Today students learned about what an adjective is. Students were then told that they were going to have to write adjectives for an ice cream cone. As a class we came up with some examples making sure we used all five of our senses and then students described their own ice cream.

Math:
Students worked on representing three digit numbers in different ways. Students used the base ten blocks to draw pictures of the numbers and they worked on writing the base ten name for the number. We started off by doing an example together sorting three digit numbers into the base ten house. Then we wrote the base ten name, and drew a picture of the number using the base ten blocks.
UOI:
Today students thought about what they had learned so far about citizenship. Then they wrote down key ways to being a good citizen.
