Math:
Today students learned how to count on a number line. Students were given a number line and three different problems to solve using the number line. The first group to solve the problem and say the pattern rule won a sticker.

We then completed number 3a) and 3b) together as a class. We used our class number line to complete the questions. Student's were also shown how to subtract and add the first and second number to find out how much the pattern is increasing or decreasing by. Students need to complete the rest of pg.6&7 for homework.

UOI:
Today we talked about what citizenship means and how we can be good citizens. We brainstormed some ideas together and then we watched these two videos with Ms. Hughes class. After watching the video we discussed as a grade group what we could do to be good citizens. Some one said that we should always clean up after ourselves. So as a grade group we are going to work on cleaning up after ourselves when we are done eating in the cafeteria.
