December Lunches

Special of the month: Spaghetti and Meatballs which is available every Friday.

Today students wrote a journal explaining how to complete our science experiment The Cookie Dunk. We reviewed all the important components of an explanation and wrote out an outline of how the journal should be written.
Gym:
Ms. Vasconceles was away sick today so we did Go Noodle in the classroom.
Math:
Today students learned how to translate a figure on a grid. In our book it uses the word slide but we are going to use the word Translation to help us get ready for grade 3. Students practiced translating shapes vertically, horizontally, and diagonally.
As a class we completed number one then students were asked to complete the rest on their. What ever was not completed is to be completed for homework.
