Today we read the book,

We then went through all the important components of an explanation using our graphic organizers to help us.

As a class we came up with an introduction and went over some of the important steps. Students then finished their explanations on their own in their journals.

Math:
Today we started our new unit Motion Geometry. We learned how to move from a starting point to an end point following instructions and by giving the instructions.

We first practiced these skill outside telling our friends how to move around the playground.

We then completed pg. 136-137 in our workbooks.

UOI:
We continued to work on our Science Fair experiment. We did our second test.

 Today we saw that the Chips Ahoy cookie did not fully dissolve today. The Oreo cookie dissolved faster on both the top and the bottom but the middle stayed intact. Half of the short bread cookie dissolved and more of the wafer cookie dissolved. We will do our last test tomorrow.

We also made our list of materials and reflected on our results from today.
