Today students wrote their spelling test.

Today students reviewed how to conduct a survey. As a class we did a survey for how many pets each student has. We collected the data using tallies and then we explained what we knew from looking at the data chart. 

 Students then practiced asking a proper survey question, collecting the data, and organizing it on a bar graph.

Today we talked about different modes of transportation that are used on land, in the water, and in the air. We watched this video to see how transportation has changed over time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaLCQo8NJFA

We then talked about why transportation has change so much. Students said that it has changed because people were trying to find a way to travel that takes less time and effort. 


Students then got a piece a chart paper and in their table groups they drew and wrote down different modes of transportation from the past and present.
