Today Mme. Rawan was away so Ms. Autio taught the class about our learner profile Knowledgeable.

First Ms. Autio read the students the definition we have in our class,

Then they brainstormed how they would explain what it means to be knowledgeable and ways they can be knowledgeable.

Lastly they completed a page for their IB binder.

Math:
Today students continued to work on drawing bar graphs. We reviewed  how to take data from a chart and create a bar graph using this data. We talked about all the important components of a bar graph and what the vertical and horizontal axis is.

-Title for the vertical and horizontal axis.
-Scale that makes sense. Starts at 0 and goes up by 1,2,5, or 10.
- Categories
-Make sure to use a ruler.

Students also worked on explaining what the graph is showing them.
