Today we read the story,
We then reviewed all the important components of a recount. Introduction including who, what, when, and why. Body using our sentence structure and making sure all events are in chronological order. Then the conclusion where students write about what they think or feel.
Students were asked to write a journal about their Thanksgiving traditions. We cam up with a introduction together as a class. For students who do not celebrate Thanksgiving they wrote a recount for the story.

Math:
Today students learned how to draw pictographs. We went over all the important components of a pictograph and how to set it up.
Students then completed two pictographs of their own. Students who did not complete them have brought them home for homework.

I used to Irish dance so we went outside and I taught the class a few steps. Have them show you tonight.
