We took turns reading chapter 5 of our novel study.

 Students then completed the novel study questions on their own making sure to include part of the question in their answer.

Math:
Today students learned how to describe and extend patterns with two changing attributes. We reviewed what attributes are:
-size
-shape
-colour
-direction
-quantity/amount

We completed pg. 182 as a class.

Students then completed pg. 183 on their own creating their own pattern.

UOI:
Today students continued to create their vehicles based on their materials list and diagram they created last week in their table groups.


We reviewed the safety rules when using scissors. We talked about how to safely puncture holes using scissors and how to safely walk with scissors in our hands.
