Language: Today students wrote their spelling test and finished their OWA assessments.

Math:

Today students learned about prisms and pyramids. Students practiced naming them and identifying how many edges, faces, and vertices they have.

UOI into Simple machines:

Today students were given this task.

 Students were then put into groups and they made a list of materials they will need. They also drew a sketch of how their machine will look.

Day 2 Thursday February 21

 Everyone had a good time learning about the simple machines the pioneers used to use.

Language: Today students wrote their second Ontario Writing Assessment. Students were asked to invent a super robot and write an explanation about how it works. Students were also asked to describe what the robot looks like, what it does, and how it works.
